An island off the coast of Honduras, Grand Roatán is a strikingly beautiful place with no shortage of natural attractions. Kimpton knew they needed to create a brand that was not simply elevated and modern, reflecting the resort’s prime location and offerings. They wanted a brand that also respected the genuine beauty of the island and celebrated its history and local culture. To achieve this, we took inspiration from the island’s flora and fauna, the icons of their history, and the resort’s wellness focus. The result is a brand that is both serene and impactful, thoughtfully complementing the natural island and its vibrant culture.

The Pool Restaurant
Sea Cat
With Sea Cat, local slang for octopus, we took inspiration from classic coastal design. The pool bar venue would be an all day hang-out that had to feel both lively and refined. To achieve this balance, we played with bright, inviting colors, a custom logo, and a hand drawn illustration.








The Cafe & Bar
Vos
Vos serves as both a coffee shop and a great place for an end-of-night cocktail. To strike that equilibrium, we built a brand that is a contemporary take on a classic all-day-and-night cafe using handwritten elements and a collateral system that can be easily personalized.








The Beach Bar & Grill
The Drop Off
No island resort is complete without a beach bar - and The Drop Off is just that. Located on the Iron Shore, a world class diving locale, this outlet needed to feel relaxed, inviting, and fun. Through the use of reef-inspired graphics and variations on the logo, we developed an identity that captures the island spirit.
