The Anglers Hotel in Miami’s South Beach had a problem: location, location, location. They needed to turn the hotel’s out-of-the-way address into an advantage, so they came to us for a complete rebrand. We worked with them to reposition the hotel as an oasis and calming escape from the wild South Beach scene, and a stylish destination in its own right. Grounded in a consumer Muse, we created a set of unique brand naming and identity systems for the hotel, bar, and restaurant.

Take a deep dive.
Drawing inspiration from sailing flags, marine buoys and tropical motifs, we created a colorful, clean identity system that felt distinctly refreshing.
Shaken, not stirred.
For the bar, we adapted the hotel’s nautical influences into a more artful and understated identity with an original name, creating continuity as well as a unique sense of character.
The local look
Positioned as a stand-alone operation, the restaurant needed a brand all its own. Inspired by historic Florida’s handmade signage, we created a name and identity system of rustic refinement.
